Browse the military award shields in our collection. The individual listings show the design and condition of each example, together with any surviving cloth backing, backplate and attachment details.Compare the complete assembly. The visible face is only part of the object: the reverse may show how the shield was mounted, whether fittings survive and where wear or repairs have occurred. Ask for clarification if a backing or attachment is not shown clearly in the photographs. A replacement backing should be distinguished from the original award itself.Related decorations appear in our medals, badges and awards collection. For shields with surviving cloth, the textile storage guide provides useful care references. Please include the item title when enquiring.
